How can I keep up with your new work?
You can sign up for my email newsletter (use the pop-up box on this site or write to me on my Contact page) where I share images of new work, let you know about current and upcoming exhibitions and workshops, and give you a peek into what I'm up to in the studio and in my brain. You can also Like and follow me on Facebook and follow me on Instagram and Pinterest. I often post images of in-progress and completed work and things that inspire me.
What is your shipping policy?
Shipping is free within the Continental US. Please contact us if you are interested in shipping rates to other locations. We guarantee damage free merchandise and work hard to package the art carefully to ensure safe delivery. In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged item, please contact us within three (3) days at kristin@kristinlevier.com or call 208-205-1002 and leave a message. Please save all packaging and photograph the damaged artwork and packaging to allow us to quickly file a claim and process your refund.
What is your policy on returns/exchanges/refunds?
We guarantee 100% satisfaction and want you to love your art. You have seven (7) days from the time your package arrives to see the artwork in your setting and decide whether or not it is a fit for you. If it doesn't feel right for you or you aren't satisfied in any way, you may return it for a full refund on the price of the art. Please contact us at kristin@kristinlevier.com for help with packaging and shipping your return. We do not cover the cost of return shipping.
What is commission work? Do you do commission work?
Commission work is art that is custom made for a specific person or location. If you see a sculpture of mine that would be perfect for you if only it were a bit larger or a different color, I may be able to create a custom piece just to your specifications. I love making commission pieces, because I usually get to know the people for whom the work is being made, and am able to think of them as I am creating. This personal connection is very inspiring to me. Prices for pieces vary according to size, materials and labor requirements. My smallest sculptural spoons begin at about $400, and most of my sculptures range from about $800 to $5,000 or more. A deposit of half of the final price is required upon initiation of work. Please message me via my contact form if you'd like to discuss the possibility of having custom art made for you.
Do you teach classes and workshops?
Yes, I teach one- to six-hour-long lecture/demonstrations and weekend- and week-long workshops on woodcarving, woodbending, woodturning, and design. I'm a very enthusiastic, energetic teacher and love to share what I know. Please contact me if you'd like to have me teach for your organization or school. You can see my upcoming teaching events here
